Barton and Sarah Spencer met at Cook Library, on the campus of The University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg. Sarah started there in 1993 and Barton arrived in 1996.

Sarah has degrees from Ole Miss and the U. of Alabama, while Barton has degrees from Southern Miss and the U. of North Texas. We each have a Master's in Library Science. Sarah is now raising our two kids at home (Sarah and John) but will probably return to the library world one day.

This web site began as a simple way to share photos of things around our house, and trips too, before such public access was made easier by sites such as Shutterfly and Flikr. But, I keep putting the pages up, especially ones that feature the kiddoes. It's amazing how many photos you begin taking when you don't have to pay for film and processing!!
