Vacation 2001 - The Wild, Wild West - Bay Area Return to the main Bay Area section |
Steep Hyde Avenue Again
Lucky for us, there were other tourists taking a breather near the spot where we stopped. We met many friendly folks during our trip, including the person who took this photograph of Sarah and me.
Again, this is Hyde Avenue. We walked from the piers all the way to the Civic Center, where a BART station was located. When we took this road we had no idea what we'd see - we were just interested in going through the city. As it turned out, we crossed by Knob Hill and Russian Hill, according to business signs along the way.
