Great Basin National Park is located at the eastern edge of Nevada, a few miles from Highway 50. The park features beautiful mountain scenes and Lehman Caves. We made arrangements for a 90-minute cave tour and had plenty of time to drive around the park and see the sights. The upper elevations contain bristlecone pines that are supposed to be as old as 5,000 years - the oldest living things on earth.
