Vacation 2001 - The Wild, Wild West - Great Basin Return to the main Great Basin Natl. Park section |
Sarah at a Great Basin Slope
Sarah overlooking the slopes found at Great Basin National Park. Some of the trees present were tough bristlecone pines (at the higher elevations) but others were beautiful "quaking aspens."
We saw a jackrabbit and two deer while driving through the park. We'd have more encounters with such animals as time went on during our trip.
